We are seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer for our browser-based business game. Enjoy the flexibility of working from home or wherever you please, and choose your own working hours. This is a long-term requirement. Our team has been with us for many years. We've been in business for 25 years. We're a global training company with graduates from over 100 countries.

Responsibilities

Test Analysis and Design analyzing requirements, designing and documenting Test Cases, Checklists, and other QA assets.

Collaboration with QA and Development Teams working closely with both teams under Agile methodology to ensure product quality and efficient delivery.

Test Automation developing automated test cases based on manual test cases, maintaining and improving the automation framework, ensuring it aligns with modern technologies and best practices (SDET).

Regression and Release Testing executing regression test suites, analyzing failed test results, identifying root causes, and assisting with test runs during release cycles.

Infrastructure and Deployment Support investigating and addressing test and deployment-related infrastructure issues, ensuring smooth execution and stability of the test environments.

Continuous Quality Improvement supporting the QA process, identifying areas for optimization, and contributing to higher reliability and performance of automated pipelines.

Team Involvement participating in team meetings, including planning, kickoffs, and demos, to stay aligned with project goals and upcoming features.

We have five QA engineers (Russian, Belarusian, Armenian, and Ukrainian), and five developers (Ukrainian, Belarusian, Kyrgyzstani, and Georgian). Team meetings are typically conducted in Russian; our JIRA tickets and documentation are in English.

We have three software projects. You will work with our browser-based sim game app, which is written in Angular, Node, and PostgreSQL. It's the world s most advanced browser-based business game app, which our clients love.

Skills & Experience

• Proficiency in Playwright with TypeScript , including the ability to design and implement automation frameworks from scratch. Strong understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Strong knowledge of locators , automation patterns , configuration management, reporting, and integration into CI/CD pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with Jenkins/Bamboo , or other Continuous Integration systems.
• Solid experience with Git (branching strategies, conflict resolution).
• Good understanding of QA processes , including test analysis , test design , requirement analysis, and writing high-quality automated tests.
• Experience with REST API testing and validation.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and ability to work effectively in distributed teams.
• Proficient in Russian and English .
